If you’ve applied for a shift and it still says “Waiting for Approval” in orange, this means the employer has not yet accepted or confirmed your application.
You might be wondering why — here are some common reasons:
The shift is already filled, but the employer hasn’t sent a rejection letter to applicants.
The employer doesn’t need anyone after all, or has the shift as a backup.
The employer is still reviewing other applicants.
Hiring managers have 2 hours to respond to your application.
If they approve your application after this window, the invitation goes back to you for re-confirmation. This ensures you are still available and interested in the shift. You have to accept the shift for you to get it.
You are free to apply for as many shifts as you like.
Once you’re accepted and hired for a shift, all other applications in the same time frame will be automatically canceled to avoid double bookings.
