Being denied from a shift is normal and does not reflect badly on you. Here are the most common reasons:
The employer already accepted another staffer
They received many applications and had to choose one
They were looking for a more specific experience
Required skills or certifications were missing or not verified
The role requires local/Norwegian experience
Your profile is incomplete (photo, experience, description, BankID, etc.)
The shift was posted as a backup and was no longer needed
The employer preferred someone they had worked with before
Language or availability did not fully match the shift needs
A denied application does NOT affect your profile or rating
It is not visible to other employers
You can continue applying for other shifts freely
