If you cannot make it to a confirmed shift, you must notify your employer as soon as possible through the Staffers app. Once you have accepted a shift, a work agreement has been created and the employer is expecting you.
Open the Staffers app.
Go to My Jobs (bottom left).
Select the shift you want to cancel.
Scroll down and tap Cancel Shift.
Write a polite explanation for the cancellation.
Tap Send Request.
After sending the request, wait for the employer to respond.
⚠ Important: The employer may reject your request. If you do not show up for the shift after a rejection, this may lead to strikes or other consequences.

Notify your employer as soon as you know you cannot attend.

Do not contact the employer outside the app regarding cancellations.
Employers can see your cancellation history and strikes in your profile.
If you believe a strike was given unfairly:
Email [email protected] within 5 days of the strike.
Staffers will review the case and make a decision.
Good news — strikes can be removed:
1 strike is removed for every 3 completed shifts with a 5-star rating.
⚠ Reminder: Cancelling more than 48 hours before the shift is the safest option — the shift is cancelled automatically, and no strikes are applied.
