Staffers’ Cancellation Policy – for BusinessesDo you want to cancel a shift or remove a staffer from a shift? Businesses have the option to do so. The rules are as follows:
The staffer is automatically removed from the shift.
No penalty is applied to the staffer.

The staffer must confirm or deny the cancellation request.
If the staffer accepts the cancellation: ✅
The staffer is automatically removed from the shift.
No penalty is applied.
If the staffer denies the cancellation: ❌
You will receive a notification that the staffer has denied the request.
The staffer must still work the shift.
The business is required to pay a minimum of 4 hours, or based on the staffer’s actual working hours.
The staffer is guaranteed at least 4 hours of pay.
If the staffer does not respond within 2 hours:
→ The business can send an additional cancellation request.
